Get to know the Amphibian and Reptile Recovery Centre

Children will get close and personal with turtles, dragons and newts, as well as other amphibians and reptiles. They will learn to respect them by observing, touching and discussing them. They will investigate like scientists and draw their own conclusions. The workshop also aims to introduce them to the problem of wildlife trafficking and concepts like “autochthonous”, “inhabited” and “danger of extinction” to help guide them towards the importance of protecting fauna.
