Physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and MBA in seniornhealth management. For the last 5 years he has combined healthcare management with clinical care and research, especially in the field of neurorehabilitation. A graduate of medical surgery from the University of Chile in 2008, he began his professional career as a general practitioner and later as head of the emergency service at the Hector Reynó Hospital in Chile (Iquique). 34 years later he moved to Spain to carry out specialized training at the Germans trias i Pujol Hospital. After working as a rehabilitation physician at the Josep Trueta Hospital in Girona, he applied for the position of Head of the Rehabilitation Service at the Palamós Hospital, from where in 2020 he moved to the Institut Guttmann as Rehabilitation Physician and Deputy Medical Director, a position he holds to date.
