Surgeon, specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, trained at the Central University of Venezuela. Currently, he works at the Institut Guttmann as a Physician in Charge of Projects: Barcelona Brain Health Initiative, PREHABILITA Project and SpeechDx of the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation. He is also an Associate Physician in Outpatient Clinics, Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation Unit and Fibromyalgia and Neuropathic Pain Clinic. He has published dozens of articles in scientific journals. In addition, he is an Associate Professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, ​​where he teaches Human Anatomy and Embryology and Comprehensive Care in Medicine in various degrees. He has completed Masters in Pain Medicine, Neurosciences, Neurorehabilitation, MBA - Health Management and Acupuncture. He has been a national and international speaker and has participated in organizing and scientific committees of various congresses and conferences. He belongs to several scientific societies, being a founding member of the Societat Catalana de Salut Medioambiental and active in the Spanish Pain Society, International Association for the Study of Pain and Catalan Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, among others.
