Specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Central University of Venezuela.

He holds a Master's Degree in Neurorehabilitation and a Master's Degree in Neurosciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​and a Master's Degree in Pain Medicine from the European University Miguel de Cervantes. He also holds an MBA in Health Management from the Camilo José Cela University and is an associate professor of Human Anatomy and Embryology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

He is the physician in charge of important research projects such as the Barcelona Brain Health Initiative (BBHI) and the PREHABILITA Project (Research and Therapeutic Innovation in Prehabilitation, Rehabilitation and Comprehensive Approach to the Sequelae of Brain Tumors) at the Institut Guttmann.
