Associate Professor, MD, PhD. Doctor of Medicine from the University of Barcelona. Specialist in Neurology and Neurophysiology. She has carried out her research work and clinical training in various hospitals and research centers worldwide, including Queen Square Hospital (London, United Kingdom), Groningen University Hospital (Groningen, Netherlands), Hospital Clínico de Barcelona, ​​Cerrahpasa University Hospital in Istanbul and Botkinskaya Hospital in Moscow. She is an Associate Professor at the UAB (Autonomous University of Barcelona) and Coordinator of Neurophysiology at the Institut Guttmann-Badalona, ​​as well as a consolidated researcher, developing research programs that use various non-invasive stimuli (repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), vibratory stimulation, transcutaneous spinal cord stimulation (tSCS)) and artificial intelligence, employing different techniques and treatment effects on the central nervous system (baclofen, cell therapy, etc.) to determine their effectiveness in the functional recovery of subjects with spinal cord injuries and brain damage, as well as to identify plastic changes in the Central Nervous System. She has more than 100 publications in international journals and 3 book chapters.
