The 1st generation of Master's students in Neuroengineering and Rehabilitation has graduated
In 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, the first edition of the Interuniversity Master's in Neuroengineering and Rehabilitation between the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) was launched.
A year and a half and 90 ECTS credits later, we already have the first generation of engineers with a Master's degree in Neuroengineering and Rehabilitation.
The Institut Guttmann is responsible for part of the teaching of the course that provides knowledge in the field of neural engineering, sensory, brain and muscle systems, assistive technology and cognitive, motor and cardiorespiratory therapies, among others. Different hospital professionals from the medical, rehabilitation, research and neuropsychology areas participate in the teaching.
This master's degree aims to train technologists and engineers in a multidisciplinary way with a high level of skills so that they can adapt easily to positions of responsibility in hospitals, companies or research centers.
Congratulations to the graduates!
