The Conseller (Minister) of Research and Universities met with the management team of the Institut Guttmann, headed by the president of the Board of Trustees, Antoni Esteve, and the co-directors Montse Caldés and Montserrat Bernabeu, who presented the therapeutic work areas of the center and the main lines of research in the treatment of pathologies affecting the nervous system.

Afterwards, they took a tour of the centre's facilities, which went through the rehabilitation spaces and the hospitalization units. The visit ended with the conseller signing the institution's honor book.

Mr. Nadal emphasized that the Institut Guttmann represents "an excellent example of applied research that serves to improve the conditions and quality of life of patients, with the reference of clinical cases that allow the generation of new knowledge and innovation in techniques and technologies in Neurorehabilitation". And he has also highlighted the quality of research "endorsed by the Government in the form of a research group recognized and funded with SGR grants.
