On Sunday 12 April, the 37th edition of the emblematic El Corte Inglés department store race was held in Barcelona, which this year was dedicated to Institut Guttmann to mark its 50th anniversary. This race is a great celebration of popular athletics, always achieving huge success in terms of participation. This year there was a record of 81,014 people participating in the race.

Runners, families, groups of friends... all of them overcoming the almost 11 km course and demonstrating their solidarity with the Institut Guttmann, which, as the associated entity for this year's race, was able to benefit from the fund-raising mechanisms that El Corte Inglés had for the race. As such, solidarity was also shown with those who suffer from neurological disabilities.

The people of the Institut Guttmann, professionals and their companions, again demonstrated their involvement and commitment by attending the race and wearing special yellow t-shirts to mark its 50th anniversary.
