Fifteen children undergoing rehabilitation visit Camp Nou and have their photos taken with Barca players
A group of fifteen children who are undergoing after-school children's rehabilitation at Institut Guttmann attended the FC Barcelona - Almería match on Wednesday, 8 April and had the opportunity to have their photos taken with the Barca players on the pitch at Camp Nou just before the game.
This activity was the closing act of the tenth edition of the book “Relatos Solidarios” (Solidarity Stories) written by 42 sports journalists and sponsored this time by Gerard Piqué. The book, which was launched a year ago, is a gesture of solidarity by sports journalists who each year publish a book and donate the proceeds from its sale to other entities. This year, the chosen entity was the Institut Guttmann and on 1 April, at a press conference featuring Gerard Piqué and Dr Bernabeu, they handed the charitable cheque over to the Institut Guttmann.
To follow up from this and as a closing act, the Fundación FC Barcelona donated fifteen tickets to be given out to children currently undergoing rehabilitation at the Institut Guttmann. The children were able to experience having their photos taken with the Barcelona players at Camp Nou, followed by watching the match against Almería.
