The Catalan Association of Protocol and International Relations (ACPRI) has awarded the Institut Guttmann with the Prize 2016 for the whole series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the hospital and especially the organization of some events of particular significance where institutional relations and protocol have an impact or significant impact to society.

The jury also highlighted the important history of the institution marked by his dedication to the specialized treatment of people with spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury or other neurological disabilities.

The ACPRI jury said: "The policy of Communication and Institutional Relations of Institut Guttmann has been a strategic element of the organization, being a pioneer in the development of corporate social responsibility related to transparency, participation, respect, truthfulness, diligence and collaboration with the public with which it interacts". The award will be presented during the course of the night of the ACPRI that will take place in Tarragona the 21st October.
