The Institut Guttmann joins the Global Compact, the United Nations Social Responsibility initiative.
The Institut Guttmann, as a social initiative entity has demonstrated, during its 50 years of history, a big commitment with society and with the promotion, advocacy and effective equalisation of opportunities for persons with disabilities.
Furthermore, as stated on its Mission, Vision and Values, the organization maintain a legal, honest, ethic, and responsible behavior, and now it goes one step further, acquiring a new commitment with the United Nations, through the signature in the Global Compact.
As instance of its corporate social responsibility, the Institut Guttmann Foundation supports the 10 principles of the Global Compact, in terms of human rights, employment rights, environment, and the fight against corruption. It also acquire the new commitment of rendering account biannually to United Nations and reporting the progress of the Institution.
