The Institut Guttmann has obtained the first EMAS Certification (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme o Reglamento Comunitario de Ecogestión y Ecoauditoría), a voluntary regulation that recognises organizations with an Environmental Management System and with a commitment to continual improvement.

The acreditation is result of the audit of 2nd and 3rd June and an example of the Institut Guttmann proactive attitude in protecting the environment, recognised also with the ISO 14001:2004 Certification, recently renovated.
