The Institut Guttmann has participated in the 6th International Congress of Aquatic Activities, an annual event, which brings together experts from the area of ​​aquatic education, special physical conditioning and aquatic therapy. It is organized by the Miguel Hernández University of Elche with the support of the Iberoamerican Association of Aquatic Education, Special education and Hydrotherapy. In this edition the congress took place in Elche on 30 June and 1-2 July 2017.

 

Jordi Finestres, physical education teacher at the Institut Guttmann has participated as a theoretical and practical speaker  with the topic "The inclusion of people with neurological disabilities in aquatic activities through play."

 

One more year the congress was proposed as a place for meetings and learning for professionals, academics and researchers in the different areas of knowledge of aquatic activities
