The Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of the Labor Relations Council of Catalonia has chosen the Institut Guttmann to make the annual visit to an organization of interest for its work in social responsibility. Today the group has been received at the hospital facilities, where they have been able to get to know the Foundation first-hand and closely, especially in the area of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
The director of the Institut Guttmann, Dr. Josep M Ramírez, has presented the foundational objectives and the way in which the institution works to help people start new lives, and they could discusse about how to achieve a more responsible management in all areas, stressing at all times that the Institut Guttmann, by its nature, has the CSR integrated into its DNA.
During the meeting it was reviewed how the CSR has been present throughout the history of the Foundation, and the attendees, members of CCOO, UGT, Development, PIMEC, FEPIME and Orsec-CTESC, together with the representatives of the Commission and the general secretariat of the Council end the meeting with a visit to the hospital facilities.
