The neuropsychologist Alberto García-Molina has been awarded by the Spanish Society of Neurology (SEN) with the History of Neurology Award in recognition of his contribution to the dissemination of the history of neuroscience.
The SEN has recognized the scientific value of its neurohistorical publications in several national and international scientific journals, with a special mention to the book "Fundamentos históricos de la neuropsicología y la neurología de la conducta", published together with Dr. Jordi Peña-Casanova in 2022.
The SEN Awards represent the recognition of the Sociedad Española de Neurología and of Spanish neurologists to those people and institutions that have made a decisive contribution to the scientific process or social promotion of neurological pathologies. There are award winners in different categories in the fields of scientific and social research such as stroke, Alzheimer's, neuromuscular diseases, multiple sclerosis, etc.
The SEN 2023 Awards were presented last June 6 at an Institutional event of the SEN held at Colegio de Fonseca in Santiago de Compostela.
