Seminar New Leaderships for social innovation
Seminar New Leaderships for social innovation
The Institut Guttmann, in collaboration with the Social and Participation Council, organizes the seminar New leaderships to promote social innovation with the aim of contributing to the preparation of new leaders in the field of disability, helping the necessary generational change in this sector and promote, within this framework, the role of women with disabilities.
The seminar is inspired by the Social and Participation Council (CSiP) of the Institut Guttmann Foundation and specifically aimed at women and men with disabilities who occupy, or aspire to occupy, positions of responsibility and/or representation in associations of people with physical disabilities. and/or organic and who want to expand their knowledge about the challenges of today's society.
The program is structured in six monthly sessions in which two speakers participate in each session, experts in the different subjects dealt with, and a moderator who stimulates the debate at the end. We have already held the first session, "Addressing social inequalities in a complex society" led by Ignasi Martí, Director of the ESADE Institute for Social Innovation, and Gemma Ubasart, Professor of Political Science at the UdG.
The Institut Guttmann Foundation, in addition to hospital and scientific activities, develops actions of a social nature, and in this context promotes this seminar to delve into some of the great issues of our society and that are key to understanding and facing the main challenges that we have raised to move towards a fairer, more inclusive and sustainable model of society.
