2016 Sports Games of the Institut Guttmann have been held with great success of participation and many moments to remember.

On Friday, all morning different sports were practiced in the hospital, where people who participated came into contact with the sport and discovered how to enjoy depending on their abilities and with the necessary aid. The afternoon was starring Paralympics personalities who could share their experiences with patients, family members and other attendees. Núria Marqués (swimmer), Juanjo Mendez (cyclist), Martin Parejo (athlete) and the team manager of the Spanish basketball wheelchair team, Raul Elía, surprised everyone with their strength and their sporting spirit.

On the weekend many people approached the Institut Guttmann to follow the competitions organized: the 1st Foundation Johann Cruyff Trophy of hockey 3x3 on electric wheelchair, the 1st Guttmann Trophy of quad rugby, and the 1st “Ciudad de Badalona” Trophy of wheelchair basketball. A big party of sport for everybody!
