Starting point of the 1st edition of the new Neuropsychological Rehabilitation Master
Today, September 4th, we inaugurate the first edition of the Permanent Training Master in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation at the Institut Guttmann Neurorehabilitation hospital. The master's degree, completely renewed both in terms of theoretical-practical format and content, will have a total of 7 students, all of them psychologists.
The general objective of the new master's degree is to train psychologists specialized in the assessment and neuropsychological rehabilitation of both adult and child patients. The teachers who teach the theoretical part are mainly healthcare professionals from the Institut Guttmann Foundation. The practical part (more than 2200 hours of face-to-face practice) takes place at the two care centers of the Institut Guttmann: the Neurorehabilitation Hospital and the Guttmann Barcelona - Brain Health and Neurorehabilitation Institute.
The inaugural session began with a presentation by Dr. Joan Vidal, teaching director of the institution. Next, Dr. Alberto García-Molina and Dr. Rocío Sánchez-Carrión, have explained in detail the planning of the Master's.
