“It is on schoolyard games where more exclusion is detected”

The Institut Guttmann has organized on 27th and 28th April a new edition of “Move and…you’ll see!” the inclusive physical education journey that have the objective of the inclusion of children with disabilities at the ordinary school.

 All the children should be able to participate on the physical activities, independent of their capacities, not only on school hours but also on the leisure time. It is often in these moments, like the free-play time, where is detected a greater segregation of children with disabilities.

 For that reason, this year the activities were focalized on schoolyard games, playing different cooperative and inclusive games, some of them traditional, where all the students can enjoy together, independent of their functional capacities.

 This year, on the 12th edition, the Institut Guttmann brought together more than 300 students of 5 schools, and the catalan television, wanted to communicate the initiative: go to video
