The Institut Guttmann organizes from 28th to 30th October the XXVII edition of Institut Guttmann Technical Symposia, this year in a very special occasion because of the 50th anniversary of the hospital. The event will meet the XXVI National Conferences of the Spanish Society of Paraplegia (SEP), the XXI Symposium of the Spanish Association of Special Nursing in the Injured Spinal (ASELME), the first Conferences on Technology and Functional Rehabilitation and also a Debate of Social Innovation and Disability.

The aim of these conferences is to share scientific knowledge, to promote innovation in specialized treatment and major developments in neuroscience and to debate about challenges and opportunities for social integration of people that suffer these neurological diseases. For this reason thescientific and medical community, associations of people with disabilities and, for the first time, the group of physiotherapists and occupational therapists will participate in differents activities
