Àngels is head of the Health Social Work Unit at the Institut Guttmann.

Certified in Social Work from the University of Lleida, she holds a master’s degree in the Management of Health and Social Organisations (ESADE), and postgraduate degrees in management of social and health services, nursing home management for the elderly, and in ADHD and other disabilities.

Her professional career has been as director of social services in local, county and regional authorities, as well as in care service management companies.
