Dr. Joan Saurí has a degree in Psychology from Universitat Ramon Llull (URL) and is a Doctor of Psychology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He holds a master’s degree in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation and Cognitive Stimulation (UAB).

He has training in clinical psychology and has carried out his professional activity at the Neurorehabilitation Hospital of the Institut Guttmann since 2005 where he combines clinical practice with research and teaching. His doctoral thesis focused on the long-term psychosocial adaptation process after the acquisition of a spinal cord injury. He has participated in conferences both in Spain and internationally and has published several research articles in important indexed journals. He is currently the head of the Institut Guttman’s Strategic Research and Social Innovation Programme.
