Maria is a physiotherapist with a master’s degree in Neurorehabilitation, specialising in Halliwick and educational aquatic therapy, as well as in assessing and managing the upper extremities in adult and paediatric patients.

She combines her activity as a therapist with teaching on the UAB - Institut Guttmann master’s degree in Neurorehabilitation and participating in conferences in Spain. She has been involved in the research project “Educational Aquatic Therapy in Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Intervention based on the family and the environment”.
