Dr. Sainz is a neurologist with a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Cantabria.

Her lines of expertise are primary neurodegenerative diseases such as dementia or Alzheimer’s disease and neurodegenerative diseases secondary to acquired brain injury.

She treats the neurological complications of acquired brain injury, such as epilepsy and neuropathic pain, and currently also sees patients at Guttmann Barcelona’s Brain Health and Neurorehabilitation Institute.
