Permanent Training Master in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation
The pre-registration period for this master's degree is open.
The main objective of this Master's degree is to train professionals specialized in the neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation of individuals with brain injuries and children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders.
The specific objectives include:
- To understand the main brain injury pathologies or neurodevelopmental disorders that present with neuropsychological alterations.
- To learn to use the main instruments used in neuropsychological assessment.
- To design and implement neuropsychological rehabilitation programs.
- To acquire basic methodological skills for conducting clinical research in neuropsychological rehabilitation.
The Master's degree is structured into 120 ECTS credits, distributed over two academic years, of which 96 ECTS credits correspond to practical training (2,000 hours of in-person practice).
The Master's theoretical classes take place at the Institut Guttmann Neurorehabilitation Hospital (Camino de Can Ruti s/n, 08916 Badalona) and the practical classes take place at both the Institut Guttmann Neurorehabilitation Hospital and the Guttmann Barcelona - Brain Health and Neurorehabilitation Institute (Calle Garcilaso nº 57, 08027 Barcelona).

The Master's Degree in Continuing Education in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation offers an advanced training program aimed at professionals with a bachelor's degree in Psychology who wish to acquire or improve their knowledge and skills in the neuropsychological rehabilitation of individuals with brain injury or neurodevelopmental disorders.
The profile of students seeking to pursue the Master's Degree in Continuing Education in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation should be motivated by teamwork, with strong logical reasoning skills, an interest in scientific and technological advances, a high regard for quality in their work, and the ability to work in an organized and methodical manner.
2 academic years (120 credits). In-person modality
• 1st year: from September 15, 2025, to July 31, 2026
• 2nd year: from September 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027
Theoretical classes will be held during the first academic year on Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
In-person practical classes will be held during both academic years: three days in the first year, Monday through Thursday (from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.), and three or four days in the second year, Monday through Friday (from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.).

Documentation required for pre-registration:
1. Curriculum Vitae (in the specific format available on the registration website).
2. Documentation proving training related to the Master's degree included in the Curriculum Vitae.
3. University degree from the Master's degree program.
4. Academic transcript for the Master's degree program, with grade point average (on a scale of 0 to 10).
5. Personal motivation letter (in the specific format available on the registration website).
6. B1 Spanish certificate (only for candidates from non-Spanish-speaking countries).
Letters of recommendation or reference may optionally be provided.
Selection Criteria
If the number of applications exceeds the available places (maximum 10 students), places will be awarded according to the following selection criteria. The Teaching Committee will evaluate (based on 10 points) the candidates' applications based on the following criteria:
1. Curriculum vitae, which will assess the following aspects:
a. Previous professional experience in the field of neurorehabilitation. Each year of experience is worth 1 point up to a maximum of 5 years.
b. Previous training related to the field of neurorehabilitation (attendance and/or participation in postgraduate courses, conferences and congresses, publications, and training placements). Each training activity completed by the candidate will be worth 0.5 points (up to a maximum of 10 activities). All participation or publications must be supported by a copy of the certificate of participation or the publication.
2. Average grade of the academic record of the degree for access to the Master's degree with average grade (on a scale of 0 to 10).
